Design
Eclipse is designed to provide protection against armed raids and to minimise the trauma that can result from the threat of violence. The screen provides bullet resistant protection within half a second of activation and presents physical, visual and acoustic barriers to the aggressor. A wide range of activation devices is accessible yet inconspicuous and full training in their use is prompted each day by the `SureFire' control system..
Transaction counters in retail financial service outlets, local government offices, post offices, petrol stations and foreign exchange centres all benefit from the use of Eclipse.
Description
SCREENS: Eclipse is composed of bullet resistant steel panels, raised by compressed air. These are housed in a bullet resistant steel case which provides full protection beneath counter level. All vertical mullions, angled joints, walls and doors offer the same level of protection and are finished with'clip-on' aluminium architraves for an integrated appearance. A flush-fitting cover plate allows documents, banknotes and coins to be slid easily across the counter.
Several types of screen are supplied allowing a full range of counterwork designs to be fitted. Screens types are: Box, Slim Box, Dais, Low Dais, Partition and Enquiry; these are illustrated in detail below.
SIZES: Screens are manufactured to suit site dimensions. Widths and heights are manufactured to a tolerance of I mm.
COUNTERWORK: Counterwork is supplied to suit any interior design. Counter and workstation configurations can be adapted from existing corporate styles or new designs can be created by Safetell to suit specific computer hardware, operational needs and ergonomics. Prototypes are often built to prove designs prior to manufacture.
MAINTENANCE ACCESS: Counterwork should allow for maintenance access from the front, rear or from raised floor level, depending on the type of screen.
